Who I Am
A little about me....I am Monique Legere (she/her), a certified Labour & Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula and Childbirth Educator. I support families in Halifax, Nova Scotia and surrounding areas. After the birth of my daughter I discovered that I truly wanted to support expectant families on their journeys to parenthood, so I began my certifications with Doula Canada. I offer prenatal education, personalized labor, birth, postpartum and newborn preparation. I am size friendly, HAES, trauma informed and a VBAC Link trained Doula. I have a vocational background in mental health, disability and children/family supports. My passion is to improve perinatal care for families. My goal is to give you and your family the attention, support and evidence based information you need to be confident parents.
